SERVICE
The service
What Echo isEcho is a browser extension and companion web app that adds AI-generated captions and translation to videos and live streams on third-party platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, Kick, and Crunchyroll.
AvailabilityEcho is provided on an ongoing basis but may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. We aim to give reasonable notice of material changes to paid features.
Third-party platformsEcho is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the platforms it works on. Your use of those platforms stays subject to their own terms.
ACCOUNTS
Your account
RegistrationSome features require an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your details and for keeping your credentials secure.
AgeYou must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, to use Echo.
Your activityYou are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
BILLINGSubscriptions & billing
Echo has a free tier; paid plans are billed through Paddle.
Merchant of RecordPaid plans are sold through Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles checkout, payment, invoicing, and applicable taxes, and your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms.
Automatic renewalSubscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.
Price changesWe may change prices. Changes apply to future billing periods, and we will give reasonable notice beforehand.
Bring-your-own-key plansOn BYOK plans you pay third-party AI providers directly for usage; Echo only charges its plan fee.
RefundsRefunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy. USEAcceptable use
You agree not to:
—Resell, redistribute, or sublicense Echo without our permission.
—Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the service or its APIs beyond normal use.
—Circumvent plan limits, quotas, authentication, or usage controls.
—Use Echo for unlawful purposes or to infringe the rights of others.
—Use Echo to access or process content you do not have the right to access.
IP
Intellectual property
Our softwareEcho, its software, branding, and content are owned by Echo and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Echo for its intended purpose.
Your contentYou keep any rights you have in your own settings, prompts, and inputs. You grant us only the rights needed to operate the service for you.
ACCURACY
AI output & disclaimers
No accuracy guaranteeCaptions and translations are generated by automated speech-to-text and machine-translation systems and may contain errors. Do not rely on Echo for critical, legal, medical, or safety-related decisions.
Provided "as is"To the extent permitted by law, Echo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.
LIABILITY
Limitation of liability
Liability capTo the maximum extent permitted by law, Echo’s total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Echo in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Excluded lossesWe are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill.
TERMINATION
Termination
By youYou can stop using Echo and delete your account at any time from echolocalize.xyz/account.
By usWe may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or where needed to protect the service and other users.
LEGAL
Changes, governing law & contact
ChangesWe may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here and, where appropriate, notified to signed-in users.
Governing lawThese terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
